Mmabana Arts, Culture and Sports Foundation hereby invites applications for innovative arts projects for individuals, companies and registered arts organisations to apply for funding in line with the following programmes in: Visual and Performing Arts. Projects must be innovative, promote government priorities, culture, and heritage. Proposed works should be of national significance taking into account the Mmabana Foundation’s strategic imperatives of developing and promoting of the arts sector in the North West Province.
Preference will also be given to applications that promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the sector and those that have a strong creative but not disconsolate messaging. Proposed projects must demonstrate impact and value for the communities in which they operate. The project applied for must articulate at least three (3) of the following arts outcomes, economic value, creative value, social value, therapeutic value and educational value. This invitation also encourages arts organisations and individuals that support the involvement of women, youth and people living with disabilities.
The maximum amount applied for should not exceed R350 000. The allocation will be in line with the MACSF strategy and objectives. Application forms will be available for download on the Mmabana website/ Mmabana Centers in Mahikeng, Lehurutshe, Tlhabane, and Taung. as well as at various ACSR departmental service point offices.

Conditions for acceptance of applications:

All relevant sections of the application form must be completed in full.

All requested documentation must be submitted with the application form.

Applications must be submitted on or before 27 July 2023 at 12:00am (Hard Copies).​
Please note that late and incomplete applications will not be considered at all and no exceptions will be made.
